Should You Run a Webinar in 2026?

Happy Wednesday 👋
I took a nice break for the holidays and I hope you did too. And now that planning season for 2026 is officially here, I want to talk about something that’s showing up everywhere, in conversations, content, and creator circles:
Webinars. Live launches. Workshops. Event-based lead magnets.
These topics always show up this time of year and today, we’re going to talk about whether they should be on your radar in the new year.
Before we go any further, let me be very clear:
You do not need to run a webinar or live launch to sell your offer.
There are many ways to grow. Many ways to bring in leads. Many ways to sell.
But webinars and live events can be incredibly effective when they are the right fit for your business and your offer, so today’s email is all about helping you figure out:
• What webinars and live launches actually are
• Whether they’re the right tool for your 2026 lead generation strategy
• How they tie into selling your offer
• And if you’re already running them… why they may not be converting
What’s Inside Today’s Email
• Should you use webinars or live launches in 2026?
• Why they work (with my personal data)
• What to fix if you're already doing them
Should You Use Webinars or Live Launches in 2026?
You don’t need to run a webinar or a live launch, some creators thrive without them.
But if you:
• Teach a process or framework
• Feel like people don't fully “get” what you do until they hear you explain it
• Want more ready-to-buy leads
• Want a lead magnet that warms people quickly
Then a webinar or simple live workshop might be the right tool for your 2026 strategy.
Webinars and live launches can look like:
• A 30–45 minute live training
• A simple workshop
• A mini-series
• A challenge
• A live Q&A
• A multi-day launch (if that's your style)
The goal isn’t the format.
The goal is the clarity it gives your audience about the problem you solve and why your offer matters.
Why They Work (And My Personal Data)
Here’s the real talk:
My biggest lead generator is live webinars.
With the right positioning and strategic content, I can bring in:
• 500–1,000 registrations per webinar
• 5–10% conversion rates depending on my offer
That means:
Every webinar → new buyers
Every webinar → new warm leads
Every webinar → long-term pipeline
And none of this is about hype or huge audiences.
It’s about structure, belief-shifting, and connecting the dots between the problem and your offer.
Webinars and live events work because they give you:
• A moment to shift beliefs
• A moment to show your method
• A moment to build trust
• A moment to position your offer clearly
When done well, they can become the steadiest lead engine in your business.

If You’re Already Live Launching and It Isn’t Working, Fix This First
If you’ve tried webinars or live launches before and didn’t get the results you wanted, it usually comes down to these:
1. The positioning is off
Your title, promise, or angle isn’t specific enough to attract the right people.
2. Your leads aren’t warmed
Live events don’t fix cold traffic, they amplify warm audiences.
3. Your training teaches, but doesn’t transform
Information doesn’t sell. Belief shifts do.
4. The offer doesn’t feel connected
The transition should feel like the natural next step, not a hard pivot.
Fix these, and your results can change dramatically even without more followers or more traffic.
