The Smartest Asset You Can Build in 2026

In This Edition of Not Another Email…

  • Why email is still one of the smartest assets you can build in 2026

  • What’s changed (and what hasn’t)

  • Why AI is your unfair advantage

  • The 3-step system I’m teaching live to turn subscribers into revenue

Hey 👋

Let me ask you something.

If I told you the online selling market today is $170 billion, that would sound like a big opportunity, right?

Now, what if I told you it’s expected to reach $350 billion by 2030?

That changes the conversation.

Because now we’re not just talking about a big market. We’re talking about a market that is still growing fast, which means there is still room to build, still room to grow, and still room to win if you put the right system in place.

And this is exactly why email matters so much right now.

Platforms change.
Algorithms change.
Tactics change every 5 minutes. Email is still here, and more importantly, email is still winning.

Email solves a different problem:

→ It gives you a direct line to your audience
→ It gives you a place to build trust over time
→ It gives you a system you actually own

That’s why email still matters and honestly, why it matters more now than ever.

What Email Looks Like in 2026

The people getting results are not treating email like a random weekly task. They are using it like a system.

They focus on three things:

1) Consistent Subscriber Growth

They have repeatable ways to bring new people in instead of relying on random spikes.

2) Structured Conversion

They are not just sending value and disappearing. Their emails are designed to move people toward action.

3) Optimization Over Time

They track what’s working, spot drop-offs and improve the system as they go. (If you do not know where people are dropping off in your funnel, you are not tracking what’s working and what is not.)

That is the difference between having an email list and building an email asset.

An email list is a collection of contacts, an email asset is a system that continues to grow, convert, and compound over time.

What Hasn’t Changed

Even with all the new tools, the fundamentals are still the fundamentals.

  • You still need to know who you want to attract. This is a non-negotiable.

  • You still need clear messaging. If your positioning is unclear, your emails will be too.

  • You still need trust. People still need to trust you before they buy.

  • You still need offers people actually want. If your list joined for one thing and your offer is something totally different, it will not convert.

  • You still need consistency. If you only email every few months, that is not a strategy. Consistency is what keeps you top of mind.

This is where people get distracted. They think the newest tool is the answer but the real wins still come from getting the fundamentals right and installing a system that supports them.

What Has Changed (And Why This Is Your Advantage)

14 years ago, when I started in email marketing, we did all of this manually.

You sat down with your laptop, opened way too many tabs, researched everything by hand, watched YouTube videos, read funnels, and tried to reverse engineer what was working. If you were building a sequence or campaign, you were piecing it together one draft at a time.

That was the process. And while we still do parts of that process, our unfair advantage now is AI.

Not because it replaces strategy and not because it magically writes great emails for you, but because it helps you move faster with the parts that used to slow people down.

AI can help you think through your ideal client, organize messy ideas, build a content bank for future issues, and support execution once your strategy is clear.

We still need the human in it:

  • your voice

  • your judgment

  • your point of view

But you no longer have to do every part of the process the hard way. That is the advantage we have today.

What I’m Teaching Live

This is exactly what I’m covering in my upcoming training, and I’d love to have you there if you are building a digital course, running a mastermind, hosting webinars, or selling services and want to turn your audience into revenue with a real system.

I’m teaching the 3-step system to grow your email list and turn subscribers into revenue:

1) The Subscriber System

How to install repeatable acquisition so new subscribers are coming in consistently.

2) The Email Conversion Engine

How to turn subscribers into buyers using structured sales emails, segmentation, behavior-based follow-ups, and AI.

3) The Revenue Optimization Loop

How to track the right metrics, diagnose performance drops, and refine your system so revenue compounds over time.

If you want to stop just sending emails and start building a real revenue system, this training is for you.

And if this email hit, reply back and tell me which part feels hardest right now:

  • Getting subscribers

  • Turning subscribers into buyers

  • Knowing what to fix when performance drops
